How's your summer looking so far? Personally, I've been having so much fun—summer ‘24 is definitely one for the books.

And because I am the generous queen (word to Nicki Minaj), I decided to share a few summer pointers and basically chat about what summer is all about. BTW, real yappers like me managed to turn our hobby into a job. Cool, right?

Anyway, this summer I decided that enough of saying I miss summer ’16. I’m bringing 2016 vibes to 2024, and chileee, so far I think I’ve succeeded! Summer to me is about showing skin, having fun, patio parties, boat parties, road trips, falling in love or getting into a situationship, attending concerts/music festivals, summer jobs (cause we gotta stay in our bag), and so much more.

We’re going to dive into these a bit more because, dear readers, I INSIST you have a #BKsummer filled with fun and good vibes. Omg, I think I’m actually going to make this into a series (I am literally squealing with excitement right now).

Concerts and Music Festivals: Your Ultimate Summer Guide

One thing summer is definitely for is concerts. Think about it—all the big concerts and tours mostly happen in the summer. Personally, I live for a good concert. If an artist I really like is in my city, you bet I’m snagging myself a ticket. So, if you’re looking to have a turnt summer, hop on the internet, search for concerts and music festivals happening around you, and create a group chat with your friends (if you don’t have one already). Convince them to join you! While I'm totally down for going to concerts alone, sharing the experience with friends makes it even better. Going to a fun concert is one way of having a #BKsummer.
